Senior Platform Security Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

Build and operate the security infrastructure for an enterprise AI platform. As an early engineer focused on platform security, you will shape the program's technical direction and create tools that help engineering teams ship secure, reliable services by default.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design secure, multi-tenant infrastructure that isolates customer data and supports efficient AI model serving.
• Create secure service templates, libraries, Terraform policies, and automation that make new services production-ready by default.
• Own infrastructure-as-code and GitOps practices, including reusable modules and policy-as-code.
• Improve alerting, detection, secrets management, IAM, and automated remediation, integrating these capabilities into CI/CD and developer workflows.
• Partner with security, infrastructure, and product engineering teams to turn compliance requirements into automated technical controls.
• Participate in security on-call and improve observability, runbooks, and incident response.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• At least 4 years of infrastructure or platform engineering experience, with meaningful security exposure or a strong interest in security engineering.
• Production expertise with Terraform and Kubernetes, plus deep experience with GCP or AWS, including networking, IAM, compute, and security services.
• Strong coding skills in Python, Go, TypeScript, or a similar language, and experience building developer-facing tools and automation.
• Experience with secure container deployment, service mesh, observability, alerting, and incident response.
• Ability to apply AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering effectiveness.
• Experience building infrastructure at a startup or high-growth company is valuable.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary range: $200,000 to $330,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
