Senior Full-Stack Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join a small engineering team building a marketplace for GPU compute. This senior, backend-focused role combines architecture, hands-on development, and product collaboration to deliver reliable customer-facing features.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design and build backend services and frontend features for inventory, order workflows, requests for quotation, and invoicing.
• Plan and document features, use AI coding agents to accelerate development, and review their output for quality and correctness.
• Develop platform capabilities such as identity and business verification automation, messaging integrations, live chat, and AI-assisted customer support.
• Design, deploy, and maintain production systems, with a focus on reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Contribute to product discussions and help resolve customer support tickets as needed.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 8 to 12 years of software engineering experience, including a backend-heavy background and experience shipping customer-facing web applications.
• Experience as a founder or at an early-stage startup, with a self-directed approach to product and engineering work.
• Proficiency with React, TypeScript, SQL, and modern web fundamentals, plus experience with technologies such as Go, Rust, Node.js, Bun, Temporal, Kafka, Git, CI/CD, and Kubernetes.
• Experience designing and maintaining production systems end to end, and familiarity with AI coding agents and specification-driven development.
• Background in marketplaces, e-commerce, inventory, invoicing, or traditional business operations; product experience beyond enterprise-only or crypto-only systems.
• Willingness to help with customer support and collaborate during US-compatible hours, including core hours from 11 AM to 4 PM Eastern Time.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent engineering discipline.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary: $200,000 to $275,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

LOCATION

Remote, with the primary location in Canada. Candidates should be able to work US-compatible time zones.
