Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, Operate

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join a healthtech team delivering production AI agents for healthcare organizations. You will lead client engagements from early technical discovery through deployment, building systems that address complex operational needs and shaping reusable platform capabilities.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own client engagements from pre-sales demonstrations and requirements gathering through architecture, integration, implementation, and post-launch support.
• Design and build production AI agent systems that connect with healthcare platforms such as EHR and EMR systems, claims, specialty pharmacy, and CRM tools while meeting HIPAA requirements.
• Lead technical working sessions and present solutions to executive and technical stakeholders.
• Make architectural decisions, scope integrations, and resolve technical challenges throughout delivery.
• Share deployment learnings with product teams and build reusable components for future implementations.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Five to fifteen years of software engineering experience building and owning production systems end to end.
• Experience designing complete system architectures and creating architecture diagrams.
• Production experience with LLM systems or AI agents, including evaluation, guardrails, and monitoring.
• Experience delivering customer-facing software and owning client technical delivery from scoping through integration and launch.
• Strong client communication skills, including leading technical sessions and presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Healthcare or life sciences experience, such as patient services, specialty pharmacy, clinical operations, health insurance, or HIPAA compliance.
• Fluency with JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, Python, Next.js, or React, and experience with cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP.
• Experience with data or machine learning pipelines, ETL/ELT, document ingestion, or predictive models is valuable.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder. Visa sponsorship is not available.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary: $170,000 to $205,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

LOCATION

Remote within the United States, with New York as the primary location.
