Robotics Software Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join the R&D team at an early-stage robotics company building software for AI-driven robots in production environments. You will work across the robotics stack to ship systems that improve real-world robot performance.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Coordinate real-time robot software, motion-planning optimization systems, and machine-learning pipelines across platforms.
• Build and maintain data-labeling interfaces, perception systems, and compilers for robot intelligence.
• Work across firmware, robotics software, and cloud infrastructure to address high-priority technical challenges.
• Collaborate with teammates to design and ship systems for production robotics.
• Deploy software in customer facilities and evaluate its impact on robot performance.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• One to three years of software engineering experience in robotics, automation, or embedded systems.
• Experience building and shipping software for physical robotic systems used in production or by customers, with ownership of engineering outcomes end to end.
• Strong programming fundamentals and Python proficiency; experience with TypeScript, React, or C/C++ is useful.
• Hands-on experience with production robotics and hardware/software integration, beyond web or CRUD applications.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, systemd, ROS, motion planning, or robot optimization is beneficial.
• A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, robotics, or a related engineering field.
• Comfort working in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment with evolving priorities.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary: $130,000 to $180,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
