ABOUT THE ROLE

Own the supply chain product area for a B2B manufacturing software platform. You will work closely with customers and engineering to turn complex factory operations into practical software that improves procurement, inventory management, and traceability.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Set product strategy and manage the roadmap for procurement, inventory, traceability, vendor management, and BOM/MRP capabilities.
  • Visit customer facilities and learn directly from procurement and supply chain teams about their operational needs.
  • Translate complex supply chain workflows into product specifications, wireframes, and functional prototypes in partnership with engineering.
  • Use AI-assisted tools to prototype, query data, work with APIs, and contribute code where useful.
  • Coordinate with engineering, design, sales, and customer success to deliver features and support customer onboarding.
  • Use product data, inventory metrics, and customer feedback to assess impact and guide iteration.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Three to ten years of experience spanning product management, manufacturing or supply chain operations, and software development or hands-on coding.
  • Experience taking software features from research through launch, including writing technical specifications and building functional prototypes.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement, BOM/MRP, inventory allocation, and traceability workflows.
  • Exposure to manufacturing or industrial sectors, such as aerospace, energy, robotics, or automotive.
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, supply chain, or a related technical field.
  • Familiarity with Python, React, SQL, PostgreSQL, AWS, APIs, ERP systems such as NetSuite or SAP, and MES or PLM software.
  • Ability to align technical and customer-facing teams and communicate effectively with factory and supply chain stakeholders.
