Product Engineer, AI

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join a small, revenue-positive AI startup building an expert network and take ownership of core product experiences. You will work closely with platform engineering and the founding team to turn user needs into shipped features, with fast iteration cycles.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Understand user needs and business context, then identify product opportunities using data and direct feedback.
• Own product surfaces end to end, from requirements and specifications through implementation, launch, and iteration.
• Speak with clients in consulting and private equity to uncover pain points and translate them into product improvements.
• Collaborate with platform engineers and technical leadership through design and code reviews while maintaining a rapid pace.
• Test, debug, and improve AI agents and workflows supporting expert sourcing and interviews.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• One to four years of experience across product, consulting, finance, or high-growth technology companies, with both business and software engineering experience.
• A technical or quantitative background, such as computer science, data science, engineering, or mathematics.
• Experience building with React, Node.js, Python, LLM APIs, or agentic workflows.
• Daily use of AI-assisted development tools, such as coding assistants and conversational AI tools.
• Evidence of owning and shipping products end to end, and the ability to clearly explain what you personally built.
• Strong performance in a demanding work environment and authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary is $130,000 to $180,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
