Lead Product Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join a lean engineering team building a new internal product for an industrial real estate investment business. As the first product-focused engineer, you will own the frontend and work closely with internal users to turn complex workflows and data into useful tools.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own and improve the frontend codebase, establishing a design system and shipping new features.
• Build data-rich experiences, including charts, maps, and AI-powered insights that support investment decisions.
• Work directly with users to understand their workflows, gather requirements, and rapidly test prototypes.
• Use design and AI tools to explore product ideas, prototype interfaces, and help shape the roadmap.
• Partner with engineering and research colleagues to develop tools for additional business functions.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Four to ten years of frontend-heavy experience building and shipping production applications.
• Strong experience with React and Next.js, plus data visualization, design systems, and data-intensive products.
• Experience owning product development from scoping through deployment, including substantial user-facing products.
• Ability to work directly with users and stakeholders, synthesize feedback, and translate needs into product requirements.
• Experience with Figma or similar design tools, as well as AI coding and design tools for rapid prototyping and delivery.
• Experience building enterprise products; familiarity with real estate or investment workflows is relevant.
• Strong computer science fundamentals and a consistent engineering career path.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary is $225,000 to $275,000 annually. Candidates must have valid US work authorization. New visa sponsorship is not available, though existing transferable visas are accepted.
