Lead Product Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join a lean, senior team building internal products for an industrial real estate investment business. As the first product-focused engineer on this initiative, you will own the frontend and help replace off-the-shelf tools with data-rich applications that support investment decisions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own and improve the frontend codebase, establishing reusable components and a coherent design system before building new features.
• Build user-facing experiences with charts, maps, and AI-powered insights for sourcing and leasing workflows.
• Work directly with internal users to understand their workflows, gather requirements, and quickly prototype and test solutions.
• Use Figma and AI tools to shape UI concepts, propose product ideas, and contribute to roadmap decisions with leadership.
• Partner with backend and infrastructure engineering and quantitative research to develop products for additional business functions.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Four to ten years of frontend-heavy experience building and shipping production applications, including substantial product ownership from scoping through deployment.
• Strong experience with React and Next.js, plus data-intensive interfaces such as visualizations, charts, maps, and insight tools.
• Experience building enterprise products and complete user-facing applications, not only isolated components or design systems.
• Ability to work directly with users and stakeholders, synthesize feedback, and turn it into product requirements and prototypes.
• Experience with Figma or similar design tools and AI coding or design tools for rapid prototyping and delivery.
• Strong computer science fundamentals and at least two years at a large technology company or established growth-stage startup.
• A focused engineering career with sustained roles and experience working on-site with a product team.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary: $225,000 to $275,000 annually. Candidates must have valid U.S. work authorization. New visa sponsorship is not available; existing transferable visas are accepted.
