ABOUT THE ROLE

Join a small product engineering team building software for the healthtech sector. You will own platform foundations and end-to-end workflows, from data models and APIs to user experiences, helping improve care delivery and the operational systems that support it.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Design and build AI-enabled tools for clinical documentation, treatment planning, reassessments, supervision, and administrative work.
  • Develop revenue and payment systems for service authorization, billing, adjudication, and provider payments.
  • Build tools for provider operations, including credentialing, contracting, compliance, payroll, scheduling, and staffing.
  • Create patient and family experiences for intake, onboarding, scheduling, communication, progress tracking, and payments.
  • Automate operational workflows across billing, authorizations, credentialing, and care coordination.
  • Own platform architecture, data models, APIs, security, compliance, reliability, and production systems.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Four to ten years of fullstack engineering experience, including product engineering at a startup and ownership of architecture or system design.
  • Strong Python proficiency and experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Firebase.
  • Experience building accurate, reliable systems in healthtech, fintech, or another operationally complex or sensitive industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and sound judgment about data integrity, financial logic, and business rules.
  • A bachelor's degree and solid computer science fundamentals.
  • Current work authorization that does not require employer visa sponsorship.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary: $160,000 to $200,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

LOCATION

Hybrid, based in San Francisco, California. New York candidates may also be considered, with three days per week in the office.
