ABOUT THE ROLE
Build and scale the core user experience for a retail trading platform focused on speed, clarity, and trust. You will own major frontend systems end to end and work closely with design and backend teams to turn real-time market data into intuitive tools for traders.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and maintain full-featured web applications and reusable UI libraries that are fast, accessible, and scalable.
- Develop high-performance interactive charts and real-time visualizations that support informed trading decisions.
- Improve application speed and reliability with caching strategies and sub-second load-time goals.
- Integrate REST APIs and WebSocket streams while maintaining robust client-side cached state.
- Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, previews, testing, and rollbacks.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- One to ten years of professional frontend engineering experience.
- Strong experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and WAAPI.
- Experience building latency-sensitive, real-time interfaces, such as in trading, gaming, or casino products.
- Hands-on familiarity with trading crypto, perpetuals, or other markets, or frontend experience at a trading firm or exchange.
- Experience integrating REST APIs and WebSocket streams.
- Working knowledge of testing tools such as Jest, Vitest, or Cypress, and CI/CD practices.
- An active GitHub with recent coding activity and public, live frontend work that demonstrates polished visual quality.
- Ability to produce production-quality code independently and use AI tools as a complement to core engineering work.
