ABOUT THE ROLE
Join a fintech team building the core web experience for a retail trading platform. You will own major frontend systems, turning real-time market data into fast, clear, and reliable interfaces for traders.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and maintain scalable web applications and reusable, accessible UI libraries.
- Develop high-performance interactive charts and real-time visualizations that support trading decisions.
- Improve application speed and reliability through performance optimization and caching strategies.
- Integrate REST APIs and WebSocket streams while maintaining robust client-side state.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, previews, testing, and rollbacks.
- Partner with design and backend engineering to ship and refine product features.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- One to ten years of professional frontend engineering experience.
- Strong skills in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and WAAPI.
- Experience building production-quality, latency-sensitive real-time interfaces, such as trading, gaming, or casino products.
- Trading experience with crypto, perpetuals, or other markets, or frontend experience at a trading firm or exchange.
- Experience integrating REST APIs and WebSocket streams, with familiarity in Jest, Vitest, Cypress, and CI/CD.
- An active GitHub with recent coding activity and public, live frontend work demonstrating polished visual quality.
- Ability to write production-quality code independently and use AI tools as a complement to core engineering work.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary: $185,000 to $300,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
