ABOUT THE ROLE
Join an early-stage AI company building a growth operations platform for consumer brands. As a hands-on player-coach, you will own core engineering work while helping shape the architecture and engineering practices.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build data infrastructure to track merchant lifecycle events and connect actions with outcomes.
- Develop agentic systems that assess growth operations, identify opportunities, and execute changes automatically.
- Own full-stack development of the growth engine, with a focus on backend systems and infrastructure.
- Build reliable integrations with commerce and advertising platforms, plus orchestration tooling.
- Mentor engineers while contributing directly to product development.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Five to eight years of full-stack engineering experience, with strong backend expertise in data infrastructure, event systems, and API integrations.
- Experience building production-grade LLM-powered or agentic systems with third-party APIs and end-to-end ownership.
- Proficiency with Python and TypeScript; experience integrating commerce, advertising, or marketing platforms such as Shopify, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, or email service providers.
- Experience leading or mentoring engineers and creating structure in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Early-stage startup or founding engineering experience, or experience contributing at a growing startup.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary: $175,000 to $225,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
