ABOUT THE ROLE
Join a small team building AI coding agents for financial research and hedge fund workflows. As the first engineering hire, you will help mature the core product and work directly with customers to turn research needs into reliable software.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and improve coding agents that create custom data pipelines, scrapers, and dashboards.
- Manage remote development environments and infrastructure for customer deployments.
- Work with customers to understand research goals and deliver tailored software solutions.
- Take features from initial design and scoping through implementation and delivery.
- Develop agent skills, tool libraries, and scaffolding that expand the platform's capabilities.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Two to four years of full-stack product engineering experience, with work spanning frontend, backend, and data.
- Experience shipping applied product engineering work end to end.
- Proficiency with Python, React, SQL, PostgreSQL, and DuckDB, plus experience with LLMs and agent frameworks.
- Experience building LLM-powered applications or coding agents.
- Data pipeline experience, including web scraping, API integrations, and ETL for structured or unstructured data.
- Customer-facing engineering experience translating requirements into shipped products.
- Background in finance, investing, or financial data products is valuable.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a STEM field, with strong technical fundamentals.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary: $165,000 to $210,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
