ABOUT THE ROLE

Join an early-stage AI company building software to automate wholesale operations for consumer brands. As a founding full-stack engineer, you will own core platform systems that connect AI-powered workflows with business and logistics partners.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Take customer-facing features from discovery through design, development, and production use.
  • Build secure, auditable data models and event-driven pipelines for automated workflows.
  • Develop internal and external APIs and an operator console that provides visibility into operations.
  • Create integrations with ERP, logistics, retail, and freight systems, including resilient data synchronization.
  • Establish observability, service-level objectives, and on-call practices for critical workflows.
  • Work across backend, data engineering, and frontend systems to address high-impact problems.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Typically 2 to 6 years of full-time software engineering experience, including hands-on product engineering at a startup or small team.
  • A strong full-stack foundation and experience delivering robust, reliable production systems.
  • Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, Postgres, queues or streams, and AWS or GCP.
  • Product intuition and systems thinking, with attention to both developer and operator experience.
  • Early-career candidates should bring strong technical fundamentals and experience in a high-growth startup environment, a leading technology company, or a well-regarded academic program.
