ABOUT THE ROLE
Join an early-stage industrial AI team building wearable products that help field technicians work with real-time assistance. You will own the product layer connecting smart glasses, cloud services, and companion apps, shaping the architecture and engineering practices as the team grows.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Deliver the end-to-end experience across smart glasses, backend services, and companion applications.
- Build cloud services for real-time video ingestion, APIs, and storage.
- Own reliable, observable backend APIs and data systems used by devices and AI services.
- Develop mobile and desktop tools for device setup, monitoring, and workflow configuration.
- Create safe deployment and release processes for software running on hardware in the field.
- Set product architecture and engineering practices, and troubleshoot issues across frontend, backend, and device layers.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Two to five years of post-graduate software engineering experience, ideally including early-stage startup work.
- Experience building and shipping a scalable product from the ground up, owning backend, APIs, data, and user-facing applications.
- Strong full-stack skills with technologies such as TypeScript, Python, React, React Native, Node.js, AWS, GCP, Supabase, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Docker.
- Ability to make sound architectural decisions independently and deliver products used by real customers.
- Experience with real-time video, streaming, low-latency systems, AI product integrations, or mobile applications is valuable.
- Frontend and UX sensibility, plus interest in wearable technology and industrial or critical-infrastructure use cases.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
