ABOUT THE ROLE
Join an early-stage industrial AI team building wearable products that help field technicians work with real-time assistance. You will own the product layer around the AI core, connecting smart glasses, cloud services, and companion applications.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and ship an end-to-end product experience spanning smart glasses, backend services, and companion apps.
- Develop cloud services for real-time video ingestion, APIs, and storage.
- Own reliable, observable backend APIs and data systems used by devices and AI services.
- Create mobile and desktop applications for setup, monitoring, and workflow configuration.
- Establish safe deployment and release processes for software running on field hardware.
- Set product architecture and engineering practices as the team grows.
- Debug across frontend, backend, and device systems to keep product development moving.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Two to five years of post-graduate software engineering experience, ideally including early-stage startup work.
- Experience building and shipping a product end to end, including backend APIs, data systems, and user-facing web or mobile clients.
- Strong full-stack skills with technologies such as TypeScript, Python, React, React Native, Node.js, and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Experience with real-time video, streaming, or low-latency systems; familiarity with WebRTC, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, and CI/CD is relevant.
- Sound architectural judgment and experience building scalable systems from an early stage.
- Mobile application experience and a strong sense of frontend usability are valued.
- Experience integrating AI capabilities into shipped products or working with wearables, edge systems, or industrial applications is a plus.
