Founding Deployment Strategist

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join an early-stage AI company working to reshape performance marketing as its first dedicated customer-facing strategist. You will partner with the founding team to advise consumer businesses on advertising strategy, explain AI-driven recommendations, and build the deployment function from the ground up.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Manage customer accounts end to end, including weekly meetings, supporting materials, and performance presentations for senior executives.
• Advise customers on advertising strategy, explain AI-driven actions, and bring customer business context back to the product team.
• Analyze advertising performance, audit accounts, and turn detailed metrics into clear recommendations and executive-ready narratives.
• Make hands-on changes in advertising accounts when needed to address gaps or improve campaign performance.
• Develop deployment processes and playbooks, with the opportunity to build and lead a team as the function grows.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Three to 15 years of experience, including a consulting background and practical work in performance marketing, advertising, or an adjacent field.
• Substantial hands-on expertise in performance marketing, beyond general digital marketing, brand marketing, or advertiser relationship management.
• Experience analyzing campaign data, auditing ad accounts, and using judgment to assess performance.
• Familiarity with Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other advertising platforms.
• Experience experimenting with AI and developer tools, such as Claude Code or Codex, to automate workflows.
• Clear executive communication skills and comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment. Startup founding experience and a STEM degree or strong academic background are relevant.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary: $180,000 to $250,000 annually. Employer-sponsored visa sponsorship is not available.
