Forward Deployed Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join a growing forward-deployed engineering team delivering multimodal, agentic AI systems for insurance claims. You will own customer deployments from initial scoping through launch, while shaping the product based on what works in production.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead end-to-end deployments and serve as the primary technical contact for senior customer stakeholders.
• Build trusted customer relationships, understand operational challenges, and align delivery priorities.
• Design, build, and iterate on AI agents using prompt engineering, model integrations, and rapid prototyping.
• Scope and develop product features that help customers scale and improve claims outcomes.
• Integrate the platform with customer APIs and systems, working directly with their technical teams.
• Coordinate with the core engineering team to support delivery and share actionable product feedback.
• Document deployment practices and contribute to internal playbooks.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• At least 2 years of experience in forward-deployed or customer-facing engineering, founding engineering, or software engineering with substantial customer interaction.
• Hands-on experience with Python, APIs, cloud platforms, LLMs, prompt engineering, and agentic AI systems.
• Experience using AI-assisted development workflows and modern AI/ML tools in day-to-day work.
• Background integrating third-party systems and collaborating directly with customer technical teams.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage customer relationships and own deployments end to end.
• Insurance, claims, or related financial technology experience is useful.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary: $165,000 to $250,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
