Forward Deployed Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join a growing AI engineering team building and deploying production systems for enterprise clients. You will work directly with client engineering teams and executives to turn complex business challenges into practical AI workflows and agentic systems.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own end-to-end development of AI workflows and agentic systems, from architecture through production deployment.
• Ramp up on unfamiliar client codebases and deliver production software with minimal hand-holding.
• Partner with senior client stakeholders across industries including finance, entertainment, and consumer goods.
• Use modern agentic coding tools to accelerate development and delivery.
• Collaborate with AI strategists to scope projects and build systems that operate reliably in production.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Three to eight years of full-stack software engineering experience, including personally building and shipping substantial production systems.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure, including solving real infrastructure challenges.
• Strong product engineering background; this role requires writing and deploying code, not a primarily solutions engineering, academic, ML, or data-focused background.
• Experience communicating with and partnering with enterprise engineering teams and executive stakeholders.
• Comfort working with Python and TypeScript, and familiarity with agentic AI systems or tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex.
• Startup experience or a demonstrated ability to work with high ownership and pace.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary: $180,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

LOCATION

On-site in New York, New York, United States. This role requires working in person five days per week.
