Forward Deployed Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join a Series A AI automation company as a Forward Deployed Engineer, working at the intersection of software engineering, customer partnership, and operational excellence. You will help enterprise customers turn complex, high-impact workflows into reliable software and automation, from initial discovery through production rollout.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Work with customers to map complex business processes into precise, actionable steps.
• Build robust workflow automations using an AI-based programming language and strong software engineering practices.
• Architect, implement, and maintain solutions designed to scale reliably in production.
• Partner directly with customers to refine implementations, build trust, and support adoption.
• Expand deployments from pilots to production use and broader rollouts.
• Document deployment practices and share lessons that improve future customer implementations.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Typically 2 to 8 years of software engineering experience, including hands-on coding in day-to-day work.
• Strong engineering fundamentals and experience shipping a full-stack application end-to-end.
• Forward deployed, solutions engineering, solutions architecture, or similar customer-facing experience that included building and shipping software.
• Ability to work through ambiguous processes, take ownership of outcomes, and operate effectively in fast-paced environments.
• Strong interpersonal skills and extensive customer interaction experience, with an interest in solving business problems as well as writing code.
• Experience at a startup or in another environment beyond large technology companies is valuable. Founder or founding engineer experience, or combining engineering with product, sales, or growth work, is also relevant.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary: $160,000 to $250,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
