Finance Agent Orchestration Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join a venture capital and private equity finance team as its second finance hire, working closely with the Head of Finance. You will oversee fund finance across multiple funds and lead the rollout of an AI-enabled fund administration platform, helping make core finance workflows more accurate and efficient.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own fund accounting, limited partner reporting, and capital account statements across multiple funds.
• Lead implementation and calibration of an AI-enabled fund administration platform.
• Identify and automate repetitive finance workflows using appropriate tools and systems.
• Maintain investment data, valuations, and portfolio company records.
• Support strategic projects alongside the Head of Finance, including office acquisitions and cross-portfolio work.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Three to six years of experience in fund accounting, fund administration, fund operations, investment fund audit, or VC/PE finance.
• Hands-on experience producing quarterly limited partner reporting and capital account statements.
• Strong understanding of capital calls, distributions, NAV, management fees, and fund financial statements.
• Experience automating or rebuilding finance workflows with tools such as Excel macros, Power Query, SQL, Python, Airtable, or AI tools.
• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Interest in deep tech, science, or impact-driven work.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary is $133,000 to $160,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

LOCATION

On-site, five days per week in San Francisco, California, United States.
