ABOUT THE ROLE
Lead a team building a context platform for an AI-powered data analytics product. The platform helps users understand and improve how AI agents work with business data, making their results more useful and reliable.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead the engineering team responsible for the context platform.
- Set technical strategy, review designs, and contribute directly to implementation.
- Manage and support engineers, set a high bar, and help the team do its best work.
- Recruit and develop engineering talent.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 6 years of full-stack software engineering experience, including 2 or more years as an engineering manager.
- Experience managing teams of 3 to 15 engineers and leading engineering for a technical product.
- Recent hands-on experience building an agentic or AI-native product.
- Proficiency in TypeScript; experience with React, Postgres, and Python is valuable.
- Experience in a high-growth startup and a technical product environment, such as data tools or developer tools.
- A computer science degree, equivalent technical degree, or comparable technical foundations.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary range: $221,000 to $295,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
LOCATION
Hybrid, with the primary location in San Francisco, California. New York, New York is also listed as a work location.
