Engineering Lead

ABOUT THE ROLE

Lead a hands-on engineering team building an AI context platform for a collaborative data analytics product. The team is developing tools that help users understand, evaluate, and improve how AI agents work with business data.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead the team responsible for the context platform and guide its technical strategy.
• Review designs and contribute directly to engineering work.
• Manage and support engineers, set a high bar, and help the team do its best work.
• Recruit and develop strong engineering talent.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• At least 6 years of full-stack software engineering experience, including 2 or more years as an engineering manager.
• Experience managing a team of 3 to 15 engineers and working in a high-growth startup environment.
• Recent, hands-on experience building an agentic or AI-native product.
• Proficiency in TypeScript; experience with React, PostgreSQL, and Python is valuable.
• Experience leading engineering for a technical product, ideally in data, developer tools, or another product area for technical users.
• Strong computer science fundamentals or an equivalent technical background.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary is $221,000 to $295,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

LOCATION

Hybrid, based in San Francisco, California or New York, New York.
