Account Executive

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join a data and AI infrastructure team to guide startup founders through wind-down decisions and acquire data licenses for AI model development. This consultative sales role combines empathetic founder conversations with disciplined deal negotiation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Manage the full sales cycle with founders winding down their startups, including closing wind-down deals and acquiring company datasets for AI training.
• Generate at least 25% of your own pipeline through outbound prospecting and identifying companies showing signs of distress.
• Negotiate data pricing and legal terms, and walk away from deals that are not a good fit.
• Adapt and improve the sales playbook as you learn what works in this emerging category.
• Work toward acquiring 10 or more datasets per month while maintaining a close rate of at least 40% on qualified deals.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Two to four or more years of experience in client-facing sales, consulting, investment banking, or partnerships, preferably at an early-stage, high-growth startup.
• A demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding quota and building outbound pipeline, not only managing inbound leads.
• Experience with data licensing, data sourcing, or selling data is valuable.
• Comfort using CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot, sales engagement tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and AI prospecting tools.
• Recent professional experience, at least one role lasting more than a year, and experience working in person at an early-stage startup.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary: $125,000 to $150,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
