What You'll Do:

  • Lead, administer, and continuously improve the Company’s Pipeline Integrity Management Plan to support the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of Company pipeline assets.
  • Directly supervise Pipeline Integrity Engineers by assigning work, setting priorities, reviewing work products, providing technical direction, conducting performance evaluations, and supporting employee development.
  • Develop and manage annual and long-range integrity-management plans, including risk assessments, inspection schedules, remediation priorities, budgets, and capital projects.

  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of in-line inspection (ILI) tool runs, hydrostatic testing, direct assessments, excavations, nondestructive testing, cathodic protection activities, and other integrity assessments.
  • Review and approve integrity assessment results, anomaly evaluations, engineering analyses, repair recommendations, pressure restrictions, and fitness-for-service determinations.
  • Ensure identified anomalies, defects, and integrity concerns are repaired, mitigated, monitored, or otherwise addressed within required timeframes.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and auditable integrity-management records, including inspection data, risk assessments, repair records, test results, regulatory documentation, and corrective-action tracking.
  • Monitor and support compliance with applicable federal, state, and local pipeline-safety regulations, including PHMSA requirements under 49 CFR Parts 192 and/or 195, as applicable to Company operations.
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison for PHMSA, state agencies, and other regulatory representatives during inspections, audits, investigations, and integrity-related inquiries.
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, Safety, Environmental, Land, Construction, and external service providers to identify integrity risks, coordinate corrective actions, and support safe pipeline operations.
  • Ensure integrity-related procedures, Operations and Maintenance manuals, technical standards, and Management of Change documentation are current, practical, and aligned with Company operations and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide project-management oversight for integrity-related construction, repair, rehabilitation, testing, and inspection projects, including scope development, cost estimates, budgets, contractor coordination, scheduling, and project closeout.
  • Manage relationships and technical deliverables from integrity vendors, ILI providers, engineering firms, contractors, laboratories, and consultants.
  • Monitor integrity-program performance, communicate key risks and results to leadership, recommend program improvements, and promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
