Triunity Software in Calgary, AB is looking for a talented Senior Java Developer to join our growing engineering team. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable Java-based applications and microservices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, architects, and QA engineers
• Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor junior developers to uphold coding standards
• Architect and implement RESTful APIs and backend services
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance across environments
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline management and DevOps best practices
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java development
• Strong proficiency with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, or Hibernate
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Proficiency with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a collaborative team environment
• Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
