Low Voltage Technician (Low Voltage Tech)

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic Access Control, security and fire alarm systems in commercial and residential environments. Your duties will include interpreting blueprints and specifications to determine optimal equipment placement, running and connecting wiring, mounting devices, testing system functionality, and ensuring all installations comply with relevant codes and regulations. You will collaborate closely with clients, project managers, and other technicians to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Accurate documentation of installation and service activities will be expected, along with providing clear instructions and demonstrations to clients for system operation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and has strong knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems and Access Control/Security/Fire alarm equipment. Professional communication, a commitment to safety, and a willingness to learn new technologies are essential. Previous experience in security and fire alarm system installation is preferred. Familiarity with industry regulations and the ability to work independently or in a team environment is highly valued.
