Bus Driver/Kitchen Assistant

The Bus Driver is responsible for ensuring the children have consistent, reliable, daily transportation that supports regular school attendance. The driver supports the Chef in ensuring that students consume healthful meals that include trying new foods, appropriate portions, minimal waste and supporting the educational curriculum. Contact employer for a complete job description. REQUIREMENTS: HS Diploma or GED. Certifications as required by Head Start, Day Care Licensing, Health Department, Department of Transportation, etc. Minimum of 6 months of closely related work experience is preferred. General familiarity with MS Office and data entry programs. Valid driver's license with proof of liability insurance & must be 21 years of age. Acceptable pre-employment criminal background check, protective services record check, substance abuse screening, driving record, and others. Subject to random drug screening. Regular physical examinations documenting job fitness. Able to obtain and/or maintain other required licensing as required. For Example: CPR, First Aid, S.T.A.R.S Certification, Food Handlers Card/Person-In-Charge Card, CDL within 4 months of employment, etc. BENEFITS: Insurance, PTO - Sick, Vacation, Holidays. SCHEDULE: Monday thru Friday, 40 hours weekly.
