Civil Analyst I

Waggoner Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Civil Analyst I to join our team in Baton Rouge, LA Airline. Key Responsibilities

As a Civil Analyst I, you'll work alongside experienced engineers and project managers to support the planning, design, and development of civil infrastructure projects. From roads and drainage systems to water and wastewater infrastructure, you'll play a role in creating solutions that make a lasting impact on the communities we serve.

What You'll Do:

• Assist with the design and development of civil engineering plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Support engineering calculations, technical analysis, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to keep projects moving forward.
• Utilize engineering design software to develop and modify construction drawings.
• Assist with reviewing project data, identifying challenges, and developing practical solutions.
• Gain hands-on experience across various phases of civil engineering projects, from initial concepts through construction.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• A willingness to learn, grow, and get your hands dirty
