Overview
The Enterprise Geospatial Information Systems (EGIS) team builds the platform that turns large, complex spectrum/telecom geospatial data into interactive maps and analytics. We're looking for a full-stack developer - primarily frontend, comfortable across the stack - to build features, solve demanding data-delivery problems, and help us shape both frontend and backend architecture.
Prior telecom experience isn't required. What matters is the ability to make large geospatial datasets render, process, and deliver efficiently, along with the adaptability to ramp on a complex domain and contribute creative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build features in our React 19 / Redux Toolkit application - interactive Mapbox GL maps, geospatial visualization, and enterprise data grids.
- Design performant solutions for rendering, processing, and delivering large geospatial datasets across the frontend, PostgREST/PostGIS layer, and vector-tile delivery (PMTiles, Martin, and similar).
- Collaborate on frontend and backend architecture, and prototype approaches for demanding spectrum/telecom use cases.
- Use AI-assisted development tools day-to-day, and help design and build application-integrated AI features into the platform.
Qualifications
What we're looking for
- Process: Lead feature initiatives, work independently, break down complicated problems and collaborate across the team.
- Expert frontend: React 19, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Redux Toolkit, with a strong grasp of performance in large applications. Frontend UI/UX oriented.
- Mapping/geospatial: Mapbox GL JS (or MapLibre) and working knowledge of geospatial data.
- Backend fundamentals: PostgreSQL/SQL and extending REST APIs (PostgREST or similar).
- AI fluency: daily use of AI coding tools and sound judgment on where they help; experience building application-integrated AI (LLM APIs, RAG, agents) is a plus.
- Adaptability: ramps quickly on unfamiliar domains and brings well-reasoned ideas across the stack.
Stack
- React 19, Redux Toolkit, Vite, Mapbox GL JS, Tailwind + Radix/shadcn, AG Grid, PostgREST, Aurora PostgreSQL 17 + PostGIS, vector-tile delivery (PMTiles, Martin), AWS, Kubernetes, GitLab CI.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience (completed Bachelor's degree may substitute for 2 years of professional experience).
- Demonstrated experience working in a consulting organization with internal or external client facing duties.
Benefits*: TRC offers a competitive benefit package consisting of:

- All full-time employees enjoy a minimum of 8 Paid Holidays per year.
- TRC ensures that all employees, including those that work part-time, receive paid sick, family, and disability leave in accordance with the laws of their state of residence.
*These benefits are applicable to US employees depending on their employment status (full time, part time, or temporary). TRC offers jurisdiction specific benefit packages for International and Puerto Rico employees.
Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
