Yard Spotter / Yard Driver – Home Daily – Rialto & Fontana, CA

Home Time: Home Daily

Schedule: 4-day workweek

CDL or Non-CDL Accepted: Previous yard experience required

Ruan is hiring full-time experienced Yard Spotters in Rialto and Fontana, California for a dedicated Target account. Drivers will maneuver tractors and 53-foot trailers throughout the facility.

A Class A CDL is preferred but not required. Non-CDL applicants with previous yard spotting experience are encouraged to apply.

Pay

Class A CDL:

• $27.00/hour for PM shifts

• $25.50/hour for AM shifts

Non-CDL:

• $25.00/hour for PM shifts

• $23.50/hour for AM shifts

Additional pay:

• Overtime after 8 hours per day

• Floater drivers earn an additional $0.75/hour

• Paid weekly

Floaters will have a primary location but must be willing to work at both the Rialto and Fontana yards as needed.

Schedule

Enjoy a 4-day workweek and home daily schedule.

Current opening:

Friday through Monday – PM Shift

• Friday: 4:45 PM – 3:00 AM

• Saturday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

• Sunday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

• Monday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Overtime is paid after 8 hours each day.

Job Duties

• Maneuver 53-foot dry van trailers

• Operate yard tractors throughout the facility

• Spot and position trailers safely and efficiently

• Move trailers between docks and designated yard locations

• Follow all facility and company safety procedures

• Work at either the Rialto or Fontana facility when needed

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 22 years old

• Previous yard spotting experience is required

• Class A CDL preferred, but experienced non-CDL yard spotters are accepted

• No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years

• No more than 1 DOT-recordable preventable accident within the past 3 years

• CDL applicants must meet applicable DOT and FMCSA requirements

• CDL applicants must maintain the required FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse profile

• Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently to understand safety signs and instructions, respond to official inquiries, and complete required records
