Pipe Layer / Underground

Local contractor in need of Underground Pipe Layers. Long term project in East Amherst, NY. Duties will include the following:

• Dig trenches, lay concrete, and dig drainage ditches
• Operated trenching equipment
• Read prints
• Install, set/connect/seal & repair underground pipe for mains, sewer, storm drains.
• Operate hand and power tools, vibratory compactors, small hoist, and basic survey equipment
• Perform safety inspections of work areas
• Assist with the construction of pipe sites
• Understand and ensure the proper grades, fittings, etc. are used
• Clean feeder pipes
