Phlebotomist

Job Summary

Part Time Position:

Hours are 5 :00am – 9:00am This Position will include working Inpatient, Outpatient and Nursing Home Blood Collection. Must have valid Driver’s License Weekends / holiday rotation will be required.

Responsible for collecting blood samples from patients by venipuncture or capillary puncture assuming responsibility for their safety and comfort. Acquires urine specimens and throat cultures, orders tests, and verifies medical necessity on outpatients. Performs clerical and other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma - OR - GED
