Who We Are – Tower Communications Expert (TCE)

Tower Communications Expert (TCE) is a nationwide infrastructure services company supporting wireless telecommunications, tower construction, civil operations, microwave transmission, emergency response, and EV charging projects across the U.S.

Our work is built in the field, where safety, execution, and on-site leadership matter. As TCE continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced construction leader who can manage at least three crews and ensure projects are completed safely, correctly, and on schedule.

The Role

The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing daily construction operations across assigned projects and locations. This role directly manages at least three field crews, supports on-site execution, enforces safety and quality standards, and ensures work meets TCE and customer expectations.

We are specifically seeking someone with extensive knowledge of AT&T requirements and the Alagi program.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands telecommunications construction from the ground up. The Construction Manager must be comfortable working extensively in the field, solving problems, and leading crews. This position requires approximately 90% field travel.

What You’ll Do

Field and Construction Leadership

• Manage and support Foremen, Crew Leads, and field teams on active job sites.

• Oversee daily tower, civil, and related telecommunications construction activities.

• Maintain a strong presence on job sites to support safety, productivity, and execution.

• Ensure crews are properly staffed, equipped, and prepared.

Safety, Quality, and Compliance

• Enforce TCE and customer safety standards, OSHA requirements, and all applicable protocols.

• Complete weekly safety audits.

• Lead by example with a safety-first mindset.

• Address safety concerns, near misses, and incidents promptly.

• Ensure work meets engineering plans, customer specifications, and quality standards.

Project Execution and Coordination

• Partner with Project Managers to support project schedules, sequencing, and execution.

• Identify and resolve field issues affecting schedules, costs, or quality.

• Support emergency response, outage work, and time-sensitive deployments.

• Maintain clear communication between field teams and leadership.

People Leadership and Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop field leaders and crews.

• Support hiring, onboarding, performance management, and disciplinary processes.

• Promote accountability, professionalism, and respect across teams.

• Develop future Foremen and Crew Leads.

Reporting and Collaboration

• Provide field updates, performance feedback, and operational insights.

• Partner with Operations, Safety, HR, and Project Controls.

• Support continuous improvement across construction operations.

• Proven leadership experience managing field crews and supervisors.

• Experience managing at least three crews and multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong understanding of tower construction, civil work, and field operations.

• Deep knowledge of safety standards, job-site compliance, and execution best practices.

• Ability to lead in fast-paced, high-risk, field-based environments.

• Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

• Willingness to travel and spend approximately 90% of the time in the field.

• Must be local to Arizona or New Mexico.

Ideal Background

• Telecommunications, wireless infrastructure, or construction leadership experience.

• Experience managing multiple crews and concurrent projects.

• Respected field leader with strong safety knowledge and credibility.

• Comfortable balancing project execution with leadership responsibilities.

• Performance-based incentives tied to safety, execution, and team performance.

• Excellent benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and supplemental coverage.

• Paid time off and paid holidays.

Why TCE

• Construction leadership is respected and supported.

• Strong operational and executive support.
