Original job description

Executive Connect & Invite-Only Manager Job Type: Full-Time About TM Forum TM Forum is the global industry member alliance for telco and tech companies with over 800 communication service providers, vendors, hyperscalers, consultancies and system integrators, including the world’s top ten CSPs and top three hyperscalers. We aim to return the telco sector back to growth, through a move to AI-enabled agility and efficiency delivered by our three industry Missions: Composable IT & Ecosystems, Autonomous Networks, and AI and Data. Our Missions are delivered through a flywheel of capabilities: Insight, Innovate, Collaborate, Educate and Scale, which are all brought to live through a global, year round program of digital and in person events.

Role overview:

The Executive Connect & Invite‑Only Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of TM Forum’s Executive Connect programme and Invite‑Only sponsor experiences. This role manages curated sponsor–executive meetings, high‑value sessions, and senior‑level engagement across TM Forum’s global events. Both Executive Connect and Invite‑Only programmes are designed to connect sponsors with high‑level CSP (Communications Service Provider) executives, ensuring engagement with the decision‑makers who shape strategy, purchasing, and partnership opportunities. You will manage the full delivery lifecycle - from sponsor onboarding and audience targeting through to acquisition, outreach, scheduling, and onsite execution - ensuring every interaction delivers value for both sponsors and senior CSP attendees.

This role reports to the Senior Executive Connect & Invite‑Only Manager and is focused on delivering a smooth, high‑quality experience for sponsors and delegates, maintaining strong operational delivery, and contributing to continuous improvement across Executive Connect and Invite‑Only formats.

Programme Delivery

You will manage the end‑to‑end delivery of the Executive Connect and Invite‑Only programmes across multiple events each year.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing sponsor onboarding, ensuring profiles, target accounts, and objectives are captured accurately.
Managing outreach to high‑level CSP delegates through tailored communications, confirmations, and reminders.
Coordinating meeting scheduling, resolving conflicts, managing shared meeting room usage, and ensuring smooth onsite operations.
Managing the Invite‑Only cycle from attendee wish‑lists through acquisition, marketing promotion, vetting, approvals, and session flow.
Ensuring all communication touchpoints - invites, reminders, and onsite instructions - support a seamless participant experience.

Audience Acquisition & Sponsor Engagement

You will ensure sponsors engage with the right senior‑level CSP executives by driving targeted audience acquisition and ongoing sponsor support.

Key responsibilities include:

Fulfilling acquisition plans to reach senior CSP decision‑makers across global markets.
Supporting sponsors to refine and prioritise their audience wish‑lists and articulate meaningful session or meeting objectives.
Handling escalations around targeting, scheduling, approvals, or attendance, ensuring issues are resolved quickly.
Acting as a trusted advisor to sponsors throughout the full delivery cycle.

Team Collaboration

You will work closely with cross‑functional groups across TM Forum to deliver Executive Connect & Invite‑Only programmes successfully.

Key responsibilities include:

Coordinating day‑to‑day activities, workload priorities, and task clarity across programme delivery.
Ensuring effective communication between teams, particularly Sales, Events, Marketing, and Insights.
Building strong working relationships across teams, especially during time‑sensitive delivery periods.
Contributing to consistent ways of working and helping improve delivery quality across events.

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

You will continually seek to improve programme processes and delivery quality through proactive refinement.

Key responsibilities include:

Contributing to event retrospectives with data to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
Suggestions to enhance workflows, SOPs, templates, timelines, and communication processes across events.
Supporting the development of best practices in targeting, outreach, data capture, and attendee engagement.
Anticipating risks and implementing preventive solutions ahead of key delivery milestones.

Reporting

You will maintain visibility and alignment through structured reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

Tracking acquisition progress, delegate confirmations, meeting scheduling, attendance approvals, and delivery risks.
Providing ongoing updates that ensure cross‑team alignment and timely action.
Producing post‑event insights and recommendations to strengthen future delivery and support organisational learning.
Contributing to broader reporting across Sponsor Success.

Skills & Experience

Strong experience delivering executive‑level engagement programmes, event operations, sponsorship delivery, or high‑value client engagement.
Proven ability to manage complex, multi‑stakeholder workflows across global events and time zones.
Skilled communicator with the ability to engage confidently with high‑level CSP executives and senior sponsor representatives.
Experience working in fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environments, with strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
Excellent problem‑solving ability and sound judgement when managing escalations or time‑sensitive issues.
High attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy across multiple concurrent workstreams.
Familiarity with telecoms, technology, B2B events, or curated meeting programmes is beneficial.
Proficiency with CRM systems, scheduling tools, and project management platforms is an advantage

Diversity & Inclusion at TM Forum At TM Forum, we’re building a workplace where everyone can belong, feel respected, supported and able to do their best work. We welcome talent from all walks of life to join our global community, which is made stronger by the different perspectives, backgrounds and experiences each person brings. We hire based on skills, potential and values, never on assumptions about who someone is or where they come from. We actively work to ensure our recruitment and people practices are fair, inclusive and free from bias.
