JOB DUTIES:

• Install, assemble, and position machinery according to blueprints, schematics, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Perform routine maintenance, such as cleaning/lubricating equipment, and repair or replace worn, damaged, or defective parts.
• Inspect machinery to identify mechanical issues, perform diagnostic tests, and troubleshoot problems by entering machinery.
• Communicate with operators to understand equipment issues through radio and in person communication.
• Use of computer and keyboard to complete work orders and note deficiencies.
• Operate equipment such as hoists, scissor lifts, aerial lifts, other mobile equipment work platforms, welding machine, plasma/torch cutting, bandsaw, lathe, bearing press, come along, ropes, and chains.
• Operate vehicles such as forklifts, company vehicle, and utility cart, as needed.
• Use hand tools such as hammers, pry bars, wrench, socket, shovels, scrapers, screwdrivers, pliers, files, and measuring instruments.
• Operate power tools such as drills, impacts, grinders, saws, torque wrench, and oscillating tool.
• Wear PPE such as coveralls, full body harness, hard hats, gloves, face shield, respirator, dust masks, glasses, hearing, rain gear, and gloves as needed.
• Enter confined spaces.
• Maintain and clean shop, tools, and work areas.
• Follow all Company safety policies and report safety concerns.

Successful candidate must: have a minimum of 2 years journeyman-level millwright experience; be able to work shift work and weekends; have a strong commitment to safety excellence; work well in a team environment; and pass criminal background check and drug screen.
