Original job description
This person drives delivery of technology programs in Advice Solutions, coordinating with vendor transformation and internal teams across Technology, Data, Architecture, Operations, and Methodology to deliver a unified data platform. They manage cross-team dependencies, infrastructure alignment, and governance, keeping vendor delivery aligned to overall delivery schedules rather than working in isolation. This is not a rigid SAFe process owner but a coordination and facilitation-first role that fills gaps in analysis, testing, and program management. They break organizational silos, own dependency management and stakeholder trust, and use judgment and storytelling to connect delivery to outcomes for senior leadership.
This is a coordination and facilitation-first role that can challenge vendors directly, cutting through ambiguity to keep delivery on track. It is a hands-on role to fill in gaps for analysis, program management, testing, coordination, facilitation and anything else that is needed to keep the project on track. The person uses keen judgment to anticipate next steps, align the work, understand blockers, and resolve them. The person also has exceptional communication skills to interact with senior management not just for updates but be able to tell a story and connect the dots to outcomes. This is an ownership role and not just an implementation role
This role is architected from inception as an AI-augmented position, already consolidating responsibilities that traditionally required multiple roles like Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, RTE, and QA contributors into a single Solutioner role. The individual leverages AI tools and agents like MYGAIT and Kiro to operate at this expanded capacity. This role provides the deeply human elements of empathizing with our users and stakeholders, navigating organizational relationships, breaking down silos, and maintaining the strategic north star across competing priorities. AI augments execution while human judgment drives alignment.
This role will evolve into a fully AI-augmented Solutioner operating alongside SDLC agents and context engineering frameworks. In the near term, the individual will leverage Kiro integrated with MCP servers like Snowflake to independently surface data insights and accelerate informed decision-making without SME dependency lag. As TIAA's Data Knowledge Graph and Digital Twin capabilities are rolled out, this role will use system dependency mapping to build solutions grounded in real technical context, reducing cycle time. The irreplaceable human contribution remains: understanding why we build, championing the business outcome, and sustaining cross-team trust.
