Bus Driver

Summary:

We are seeking a responsible and reliable individual to join our team as a Part Time Bus Driver mainly focused at the Elementary Schools on the eastside. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school and other activities.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a school bus in a safe and efficient manner
• Pick up and drop off students at designated locations
• Follow a predetermined route and schedule
• Ensure the safety of all passengers on the bus
• Maintain order and discipline among students while on the bus
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus
• Keep the bus clean and well-maintained
• Communicate effectively with school staff and parents

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings and afternoons
• Prior experience as a bus driver preferred but not required.
