• Sign Estimator Thomas Sign & Awning, an award winning Nation Sign Company in Clearwater, FL; designs, manufactures and installs illuminated and non-illuminated signage. Thomas Sign is searching for an Estimator to join our team. The Estimator would be responsible for estimating sign components such as cabinets, pylons, pole covers, awnings, window signs and other custom made sign assemblies using the following software: MS Access, AutoCAD and Casmate.

Summary:

Estimate sign components such as sign cabinets, pylons, pole covers, awnings, window signs and other custom made sign assemblies. Ability to utilize software: including Microsoft Access, AutoCAD and Casmate.

Description:

Ability to work as a member of a team and helps train less experienced workers. Possess a good understanding of the entire sign manufacturing process and interact with other departments and individuals to ensure that the manufactured product meets or exceeds the customer’s expectation. Able to read and understand technical drawings and engineering notes furnished by customers.

JOB SKILLS

Good math and organizational skills Able to use a PC and Windows Operating system Able to read blueprints, shop drawings and have basic mechanical understanding Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions Must have cooperative attitude and work well with others in a team environment Able to keep work area organized, neat and clean

Sign Industry experience helpful but will train the right candidate.
