Paraprofessional Educator - School Setting

We are seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional Educator with school-based experience to support classroom instruction in a vibrant educational setting in Carlsbad, New Mexico. In this role, you will assist lead teachers with instructional support, student engagement, and classroom operations. Responsibilities

• Support instruction by teaching assigned lesson components under the direction of the classroom teacher
• Lead small-group or one-on-one academic support and discussions
• Assist in reviewing and grading student work, including homework and assessments
• Maintain classroom organization and prepare instructional materials
• Record and monitor student attendance and participation
• Perform general clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (Associate degree preferred)
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• A minimum of 6 months of relevant experience within the past 5 years is preferred
