Lighting Systems Integrator

Lighting Systems Design and Integration

Location: Las Vegas

Compensation: Up to $120,000

The Opportunity

A leading lighting systems organization is seeking a Senior Application Engineer to design, engineer, and estimate lighting control and custom integration solutions. This person will partner with systems sales teams to turn early-stage opportunities - often without a complete specification - into complete, competitive, technically sound proposals.

What You Will Do

· Partner with systems sales teams and outside sales agents to develop technical solutions and proposals for lighting-control systems, general lighting, and custom integration opportunities.

· Create complete bills of materials, evaluate solution options, and build accurate, competitive quotations for design-development and specification-driven projects.

· Review proposed scopes for function, constructability, margin opportunity, and alignment with customer requirements.

· Prepare system risers, layouts, and cut sheets as needed before project award.

· Conduct or support site walks to gather field information required for accurate system design and quoting.

· Provide estimating coverage during high-volume periods and support the Systems Estimator as needed.

· Identify cost-saving and profitability opportunities; communicate awarded-project details and savings opportunities to operations.

· Educate sales colleagues on lighting-system design approaches and estimating methods; support mockups and demonstrations.

· Stay current on lighting products, controls, protocols, and emerging technologies.

What You Bring

· 5+ years of lighting-industry experience designing, engineering, installing, or commissioning systems.

· Strong understanding of lighting technologies, control protocols, system layouts, and integration methods.

· Proficiency with AutoCAD and confidence producing technical drawings and documentation.

· Demonstrated estimating, proposal-development, and bill-of-materials experience.

· Clear technical communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, operations, and customers in a deadline-driven environment.

· Technical undergraduate degree preferred, but equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
