Salary Range: $55,000–$65,000 annually

Bring accuracy, organization, and problem-solving together!

Are you someone who enjoys working with numbers, solving problems, and keeping financial processes running smoothly? Industrial Electric Supply (IES), a member of The Will Group family of companies, is looking for a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to support our accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing operations.

This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys variety in their day, takes ownership of their work, and knows the importance of building strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams.

Who We Are

Founded in 1977, Industrial Electric Supply (IES) is a privately owned, full-service wholesale electrical distributor serving the utility, construction, commercial, and industrial markets. We provide a comprehensive range of electrical, lighting, industrial, data and telecommunications products, wire and cable, tools, and safety equipment.

As part of The Will Group, we are proud of our entrepreneurial spirit, collaborative culture, and commitment to creating opportunities for people to grow and succeed.

What You'll Do

As our Billing Specialist, you'll play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the timely processing of customer and vendor transactions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Process and verify inventory invoices, utilities, rent, expense reports, and other vendor payments.

• Establish and maintain vendor records in Epicor Eclipse.

• Review vendor statements, investigate discrepancies, and communicate regarding invoice and payment status.

• Monitor open orders and investigate past-due ship dates.

• Process and reconcile vendor rebates, special pricing agreements, and related adjustments.

• Review customer invoices for accuracy, including billing for key accounts.

• Research and resolve customer billing, pricing, payment, and account discrepancies.

• Process customer credit card and other payments and accurately apply them to open invoices.

• Monitor accounts receivable aging and proactively follow up on outstanding balances.

• Communicate professionally with customers regarding invoices, payment status, and account issues.

• Prepare customer statements, collection notices, and other account communications.

• Perform monthly accounts receivable reconciliations and assist with financial reporting.

• Partner with Accounting, Sales, Operations, and other departments to resolve issues and improve processes.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree or coursework in accounting, finance, or business is preferred.

• Two or more years of experience in billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or a related accounting function preferred.

• Epicor Eclipse experience required.

• Experience with ERP or accounting software.

• Strong understanding of billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and basic accounting principles.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.

• Strong communication and customer service skills when working with customers, vendors, and internal teams.

Experience in wholesale distribution, construction, utility, or a similar business environment is a plus.

What We Offer

We believe our people are our greatest asset. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:

• Annual salary range of $55,000–$65,000, depending on qualifications and experience.

• Medical, dental, and vision insurance.

• Life insurance.

• 401(k) with company match.

• Generous paid time off.

• 10½ paid holidays.

• Paid volunteer time off.

• Continuing education reimbursement.

• A collaborative work environment that values diverse perspectives, ideas, and experiences.

Ready to Make an Impact?

If you're an organized, detail-oriented accounting professional with Epicor Eclipse experience who enjoys taking ownership and keeping things running smoothly, we'd love to hear from you!
