Reports To: VP of Engineering

Travel Required: Must have the ability to spend time between our locations in Solon and Streetsboro.

Schedule: 40 hours a week; occasional overtime may be required

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

The Manufacturing Engineer for The Technology House/Sea Air Space (TTH/SAS) will interact with all areas of the company to meet customer expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Meet customer expectation in the areas of CAD engineering/3D modeling, mechanical design, plastic part design, reverse engineering, design for manufacturing, process validation and product development
• Improve operational efficiencies and process development
• Write work instructions as necessary
• Help define and translate customer requirements for the shop floor
• Design and build fixtures for manufacturing
• Train workers as necessary
• Assist with manufacturing floor layout
• Work with Project Management and the end customer
• Interpret drawings and customer requirements
• Maintain proper quality reports
• Perform first article inspections
• Program and set up CMM if applicable
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Associate or bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field or equivalent work experience

Demonstrated proficiency in one or more CAD software programs
