Full-Time Custodian Emphasis in Maintenance/Grounds

Full-Time Maintenance/Groundskeeper

• Perform general facility repairs, including minor plumbing, basic drywall patching, touch-up painting, and basic carpentry.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections across the property to identify and fix minor issues before they become major problems.
• Monitor HVAC, lighting, and perform routine checks and basic troubleshooting.
• Respond promptly to facility work orders and maintenance requests from management or staff.
• Coordinate with external contractors or specialized technicians for major plumbing, electrical, or structural repairs as needed.
• Perform routine lawn care, including mowing, edging, trimming, and weeding.
• Prune and trim shrubs, trees, and other green spaces.
• Maintain outdoor walkways, parking lots, and entryways, keeping them free of trash, leaves, debris, and safety hazards.
• Perform seasonal outdoor tasks, such as snow removal, salting walkways, and leaf clearance.
• Operate and safely maintain power tools and equipment (mowers, weed trimmers, blowers, pressure washers, snowblowers).
