Position Overview:
We are seeking a Workday HCM Solution Lead to guide a complex Workday implementation or re-implementation. This consultant will provide solution leadership, lead the HCM functional team, and partner with client stakeholders to define future-state processes and deliver a cohesive solution. Healthcare experience is HIGHLY PREFERRED and candidates should have experience modernizing and existing Workday environment.
Location: Remote with approximately 3-5 onsite visits to Topeka, Kansas
Commitment: Estimated 10 hours per week
Contract end date: January 31, 2028
Responsibilities
- Lead the Workday HCM solution and functional team through design, configuration, testing, cutover, and deployment.
- Drive future-state design using Workday leading practices, challenging legacy processes and guiding client decisions.
- Ensure alignment across HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Recruiting/Talent, Security, Reporting, Integrations, and data conversion.
- Resolve design issues and manage cross-functional risks and dependencies.
- Facilitate working sessions, provide client guidance, and support knowledge transfer.
