This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile facility expansion, modernization, and manufacturing improvement projects while collaborating with engineering, construction, operations, and leadership teams. Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between owners, engineering firms, contractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Manage RFP development, contractor bidding processes, vendor selection, and contract administration.
  • Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
  • Monitor project budgets, schedules, risk assessments, and cost forecasts.
  • Support contractor negotiations, change management, and scope validation.
  • Review project estimates and assist with budget reconciliation and cost controls.
  • Oversee project schedules and collaborate with project controls teams to drive successful execution.
  • Provide executive-level project reporting, including KPIs, risks, milestones, and status updates.
  • Ensure project documentation, quality standards, and safety requirements are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Travel to project sites as needed to support project delivery and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
  • 7+ years of project management experience supporting industrial or manufacturing projects.
  • Required experience within food manufacturing, dairy processing, cheese production, or similar food & beverage environments.
  • Experience managing projects through design, procurement, construction, startup, and commissioning.
  • Knowledge of capital project execution, cost management, scheduling, and risk mitigation.
  • Experience working with engineering consultants, contractors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with construction delivery methods including Design-Build and traditional project delivery approaches.
  • Strong understanding of project controls, budgeting, and schedule management.
  • Experience with project management and construction software such as Microsoft Project, Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, BIM 360, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%-75% as project needs require.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Construction Manager (CCM), CAPM, or similar certification.
