Salary Range: $49,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

This posting covers Recruiter opportunities with manufacturers based in and around Petoskey in Emmet County, within about 45 minutes of the city, including Harbor Springs, Boyne City, Charlevoix, and East Jordan.

The Opportunity

We work with companies in the Petoskey area that add Recruiters to their teams. These organizations value quality over speed in hiring. By connecting with us, you position yourself for opportunities that align with what you're looking for.

Usual Responsibilities

• Conduct reference checks and verify work history.
• Extend offers and support new hire onboarding.
• Build talent pipelines for hard to fill manufacturing positions.
• Attend job fairs and community hiring events.
• Source and screen candidates for production and skilled trades roles.
• Schedule interviews and coordinate with hiring managers.
• Post job openings on job boards and company career pages.
• Maintain candidate records in the applicant tracking system.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple open requisitions at once.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience recruiting in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and job boards.

Bonus Qualifications

• Knowledge of pre-employment screening and background checks.
• Bilingual English and Spanish.
• Familiarity with OFCCP and equal employment opportunity practices.
• Associate or bachelor degree in human resources or business.
• Experience hiring for skilled trades such as welding or CNC.
