Salary Range: $41,000 - $64,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing firms in the Jackson area that seek skilled Quality Technicians. Usual Responsibilities

• Flag nonconforming parts and route them through the hold process.
• Support root cause analysis for defects and customer complaints.
• Calibrate and maintain inspection tools and test equipment.
• Assist with internal audits and prepare quality reports.
• Communicate quality issues to production and engineering teams.
• Inspect incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished products against specifications.
• Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation and logs.
• Perform dimensional checks using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Recommended Qualifications

• Familiarity with measurement tools and inspection methods.
• Attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.

Bonus Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 quality systems.
• Knowledge of statistical process control and root cause tools.
• Certification in quality inspection or auditing.
• Experience with coordinate measuring machines or vision systems.
