Salary Range: $83,000 - $128,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across the Livonia area seeking Project Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Usual Responsibilities

• Support continuous improvement projects on the production floor.
• Lead cross functional teams through project planning and execution.
• Build and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Track milestones and report status to plant and operations leadership.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, quality, and supply chain on deliverables.
• Identify project risks and drive corrective actions to keep timelines on track.
• Manage scope changes and document decisions and approvals.
• Run regular project reviews and update stakeholders on progress.

Recommended Qualifications

• Three or more years of project management experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with project scheduling and tracking tools.
• Working knowledge of lean manufacturing and process improvement methods.
• Strong communication and cross functional leadership skills.
• Ability to read production schedules, drawings, and technical documents.
• Bachelor degree in engineering, business, or a related field.

Bonus Qualifications

• Project Management Professional or similar certification.
• Experience with new product introduction or capital equipment projects.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
• Familiarity with ERP and manufacturing execution systems.
• Experience leading projects across multiple plants or sites.
