Salary Range: $46,000 - $66,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We collaborate with multiple companies in the Monroe area seeking experienced Bookkeepers. These organizations value long-term fit and look for professionals who bring both skill and alignment. By joining our network, you gain access to opportunities tailored to your goals.
Usual Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare invoices and track customer payments.
- Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts.
- Assist with monthly close and basic financial reports.
- Track inventory costs and job cost records.
- Organize receipts and supporting documents for audits.
- Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements each month.
Recommended Qualifications
- Prior bookkeeping experience, ideally in manufacturing or a related industry.
- Working knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks or ERP systems.
- Understanding of double-entry accounting and general ledger work.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets for tracking and reconciliation.
- Associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Bonus Qualifications
- Familiarity with payroll processing and related filings.
- Exposure to ERP systems used in manufacturing environments.
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) credential.
- Experience supporting month-end and year-end close.
- Experience with job costing or inventory accounting.
